Pre-Interviews
We conduct casual conversations with your experts and leaders. We’re deepening our knowledge of your organization and we’re figuring out who would be great on-camera contributors, building rapport so they’re most comfortable when we’re on site.

Initiation
Together, we work to decide project goals and to define the target audience. We research and analyze your current context, determining how this project will fit in with your existing brand and communications efforts. And we identify key leaders and subject matter experts to consult in pre-interviews.
Conceptualization
Building on what we’ve learned in pre-interviews, we develop the key messaging and visual concepts for your campaign. We consider form, exploring how each video in the campaign should relate to the larger whole and when each should debut. We establish the guiding creative philosophy that will govern everything from cinematography to motion graphics.

Production Brief
We codify all of this work into a Production Brief document. The Production Brief details what we’ll see on screen, what visual flavor we’ll impart, who we’ll hear from, and what we’d like them to say. It includes scripts, and creative instructions for all filmmaking departments to execute in production and post production.

Interview Prep
We work with interview participants, subtly coaching them towards a great on-camera presence. Not everyone is excited about appearing on-camera, but we work hard to set a comfortable, positive tone so that every participants feels great about their experience.

Request for Quotations
If desired, we’ll prepare the Request for Quotations document and solicit bids from external video production vendors. We’ll deliver everything you need for a successful shoot with 3rd party vendors, in-house production resources, or DEFINITE•, applying the VividLab• fee to the project.
